Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Francis Brizuela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Semin Cuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cuk has chosen Down - Bury Me In Smoke as his entrance music. Semin Cuk told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brizuela fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Cuk gets tackled into the cage by Brizuela. Brizuela maintains the clinch.
A short body shot lands from Brizuela as the two fighters clinch.
Brizuela lands a left hand that snaps the head of Cuk backwards.
Brizuela gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Semin Cuk has been cut.
Cuk lands a shoulder strike.
Brizuela misses with a short punch on the inside.
Cuk prevents a body shot from Brizuela.
Brizuela throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cuk creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Semin Cuk's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A relieved looking Francis Brizuela thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
