Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cweti Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paul gets tackled into the cage by Ivanov. Ivanov maintains the clinch.

Paul gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Ivanov regains guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Paul is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
It looks like Paul might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Paul throwing strikes from guard but Ivanov blocks nicely.
Paul prevents Ivanov from getting back to his feet.
Paul keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ivanov's head.
Paul stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ivanov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Paul is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Paul has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ivanov avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Paul with a flurry of punches that miss.

Paul drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Paul as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Ivanov screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Paul! Nice submission victory there!
