Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Wolfen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Price has chosen Not Afraid as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thomas Price!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wolfen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A cross from Price lands.
Wolfen is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Price chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wolfen can pounce on him.
Price throws a low kick but Wolfen avoids it.
Wolfen ducks under a wild hook from Price.
Price misses with a series of wild punches.
Wolfen digs a good hook to Price's body.
Wolfen is looking to slow Price down with leg kicks.

Price jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Price tries to bum rush Wolfen with a series of wild strikes but Wolfen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Frank Wolfen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wolfen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Price has time to react.

Price is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wolfen defends it well.

Wolfen is trying to escape back to his feet but Price uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Wolfen is looking to regain half guard here but Price keeps moving and retains side control.
Wolfen tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Price presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Wolfen is desperately trying to improve his position but Price has a good base and remains in mount.
Price wants to control the pace but Wolfen is squirming around nicely.

Wolfen's corner calls for a 1-2. Wolfen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Wolfen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Price feints a jab promting Wolfen to slip. Price then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wolfen slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Price takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wolfen lands a nice looking kick to the body. Price takes a step back to recover.
Price swings for the body but Wolfen moves out of range.
Price throws the left hand but Wolfen avoids the punch easily.
Wolfen throws a sloppy head kick and Price moves out of range easily.
Wolfen is looking to chop away at Price's legs.
Wolfen misses with a wild combination.
Price takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Wolfen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Price is trying to break the clinch but Wolfen is controlling him.
Wolfen lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Price has had enough of the clinch but Wolfen keeps him there for the moment.
Wolfen makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wolfen doesn't manage to clinch there - Price circles away.
Thomas Price is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Price throws a hook but Wolfen blocks it.

Wolfen feints and as Price raises his hands in defense, Wolfen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Wolfen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Price manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Wolfen has Price in his guard.

Price is keen to just control but Wolfen is a slippery customer.

Price is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Price tries to keep at a distance but Wolfen has taken the fight into the clinch.

Price swings widly with a right hand

and Wolfen counters by moving into the clinch.
Wolfen tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Wolfen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wolfen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Price looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Wolfen drives through and clinches with Price against the cage.
Price prevents a body shot from Wolfen.
Price takes a knee right on the jaw!
Price wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Wolfen lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Price misses with a punch on the inside.
Wolfen misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Wolfen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Price on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Frank Wolfen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Price throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A jab from Wolfen finds it's way through Price's defenses.
Wolfen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Price swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Wolfen closes the distance and clinches.
Wolfen tries to work over Price's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Price wants to get back to striking at distance but Wolfen won't allow it.
Wolfen misses with a hook to the ribs.
Thomas Price has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Wolfen lands a left hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A short right from Wolfen on the inside.
Price wants to break free but Wolfen has control.
Wolfen stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Price's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Wolfen has clasped his hands together around Price's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Wolfen throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Price works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
