Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elijah Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orlando Murillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Orlando Murillo was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murillo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hoffman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hoffman swings for the body but Murillo moves out of range.
Murillo moves out of range of the strikes.
Elijah Hoffman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Murillo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hoffman.
Hoffman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Murillo.
Murillo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hoffman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hoffman moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Hoffman throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Hoffman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Murillo.
Hoffman misses with a takedown attempt - Murillo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hoffman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hoffman shoots in looking for a takedown. Murillo tries to sprawl out of it but Hoffman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Murillo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Murillo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
No joy there for Murillo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hoffman scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Murillo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Murillo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Hoffman is looking to improve his position but Murillo isn't that keen on the idea.
Murillo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
