The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akande throws a solid leg kick but Choi takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Akande.
Choi misses with a series of wild punches.
Choi thows a left - swing and a miss!

Choi moves into the clinch successfully.

It looks like Kasim Akande has been cut.
Choi lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Choi lunges at Akande with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Akande's hand.
Akande tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Choi swivels and escapes.

Akande has gone for a leg lock! Choi slips out almost immediately though and dives into Akande's guard.

Akande is looking to sinch up a triangle. Choi throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Akande's body to avoid the submission. Akande has instead reached around Choi's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Akande arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
