Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Giovinco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Chalas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Giovinco comes to the cage accompanied by Lift me up. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chalas tries to land a front kick but Giovinco steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Giovinco moves in looking to clinch but Chalas pushes him off.
Chalas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Chalas gets the takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Giovinco is trying to get back to half guard.

Giovinco is trying desperately to improve position.

Giovinco is bucking up trying to escape but Chalas cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Giovinco reaches up to try and control the position but Chalas seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Giovinco rolls and tries to escape and now Chalas has his back!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Chalas is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Giovinco is defending well though. Chalas let's go of the attempt for now.

Giovinco staying busy and making it hard for Chalas to control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Giovinco is in bad spot here.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Chalas's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Giovinco slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Giovinco has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Chalas to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Giovinco is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Chalas pulls down on the head and he's put Giovinco to sleep! This one is all over!

After the fight, Luis Chalas was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
