Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alpa Chino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy McNulty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chino comes to the cage accompanied by Legend Killer. McNulty comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Enter Sandman by Metallica kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jimmy McNulty will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy McNulty !
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNulty throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chino sees it coming and avoids it easily.
McNulty misses with a jab, cross combination.
Chino tries to score a power double leg takedown but McNulty sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Chino somewhat.

Chino slips under a jab from McNulty .
Chino takes one on the chin but seems OK.
McNulty lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chino circles away quickly and effectively.
McNulty scores with a body shot.
Chino shoots in for a takedown but McNulty shows good takedown defense.
Chino walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Chino fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McNulty avoids it really well and circles away.

The crowd cheers as McNulty lands an impressive looking overhand right. Chino doesn't seem phased though.

McNulty feints and then cracks Chino's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Chino down.
A head kick from McNulty lands but Chino takes it in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McNulty looks to land a left hand but Chino moved out of range nicely.
McNulty swings for the body but Chino moves out of range.
McNulty just misses with a punch to the body.
Jimmy McNulty is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Chino drops his hands momentarily and McNulty takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
McNulty is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
McNulty slaps away a takedown attempt from Chino, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from McNulty . Chino shrugs it off though.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Chino. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
McNulty throws a leg kick which misses Chino's front leg but catches the back leg as Chino tries to avoid it.
McNulty leaves Chino with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
McNulty throws a shot from downtown. Chino moves away and avoids it.

McNulty slaps away a takedown attempt from Chino, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and Chino counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

I would just about give that final round to Jimmy McNulty .
