Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Guido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Tupper Vi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Tupper Vi.
Guido connects with a body shot that sends Tupper Vi's belly button to the back.
Guido throws a push kick but Tupper Vi slaps the foot to one side.
Guido attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
An inside leg kick lands from Guido.
Guido thuds his right hand into Tupper Vi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Guido misses with an uppercut.
Guido tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tupper Vi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Guido tries to avoid it but Tupper Vi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Guido to the ground. Guido escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Guido throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Guido attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Tupper Vi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Bobby Tupper Vi has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Guido misses with a looping right.
Guido scores with a nice right hand.
Guido throws a body punch but Tupper Vi moves out of range.
Tupper Vi shoots in but no luck this time.
Tupper Vi shoots for a double leg takedown but Guido sprawls well. He's pushed Tupper Vi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Paulo Guido has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Tupper Vi.
Guido throws a low kick but Tupper Vi moves out of range easily.
Guido plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A left lands for Guido.
Guido ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Guido lands a big head kick that sends Tupper Vi tumbling to the mat! Guido takes a step backwards and waves Tupper Vi back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Tupper Vi is rocked!

Guido takes the fight into the clinch.

Tupper Vi goes for a takedown in the clinch but Guido prevents it.
Guido lands a nice uppercut.
Guido lands an uppercut.
Tupper Vi is still on wobbly legs! Can Guido finish him?
Tupper Vi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Guido walks away with a smile on his face. Tupper Vi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Tupper Vi seems to have recovered his senses.
Guido misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tupper Vi.
Guido lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tupper Vi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Guido as he jumps to the side.
Guido tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tupper Vi was well out of range. Poor timing from Guido.

Guido feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Tupper Vi sprawling to the canvas! Tupper Vi rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Guido finish him?!
Guido lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Tupper Vi is looking to close the distance but Guido sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Tupper Vi crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Tupper Vi is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
