Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rolad Kjeldsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maple Leaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leaf tries to clinch up
and Kjeldsson counters with a left to the body.
Kjeldsson connects with a body shot.

and Kjeldsson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Leaf takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Leaf shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kjeldsson defends it nicely.
Leaf is looking to clinch but Kjeldsson is avoiding it.
Leaf tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kjeldsson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Leaf somewhat.
Leaf tries to close the distance and clinch but Kjeldsson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kjeldsson tries to bum rush Leaf with a series of wild strikes but Leaf uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Leaf misses with a takedown attempt - Kjeldsson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Rolad Kjeldsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maple Leaf.
Leaf takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Kjeldsson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Leaf is rocked!
Leaf takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Leaf is still on wobbly legs! Can Kjeldsson finish him?
Leaf tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Leaf seems to have recovered his senses.
Leaf doesn't manage to clinch there - Kjeldsson circles away.
Leaf shoots for a takedown but Kjeldsson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Leaf drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Leaf is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kjeldsson.

Leaf shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kjeldsson's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kjeldsson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kjeldsson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Leaf is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kjeldsson pulls his head out easily.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kjeldsson connects with a nice short shot to Leaf's temple.

Kjeldsson works his foot free and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kjeldsson landing strikes from the mount and Leaf is in trouble!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Leaf is bucking up trying to escape but Kjeldsson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Leaf wants to hold on but Kjeldsson pushes him away.
Leaf is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kjeldsson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

and Kjeldsson counters with a left to the body.

Kjeldsson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Leaf stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Leaf shoots in for a takedown but Kjeldsson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Kjeldsson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kjeldsson lands a left and a right that send Leaf crashing to the mat, dazed. Kjeldsson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Kjeldsson drops Leaf with a beautiful combination! Leaf stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kjeldsson is looking for the KO!
Kjeldsson throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Leaf crashing down! Leaf tries to stagger back to his feet but Kjeldsson just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Leaf asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rolad Kjeldsson!
Rolad Kjeldsson got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
