Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Stuart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, The Beast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Stuart!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Beast clinches with his opponent.
A knee to the head by Beast.
Stuart can't find room to land a body shot as Beast controls the action.
Beast could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Stuart takes a knee right on the jaw!

Beast successfully pulls guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Beast thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Beast is looking to stand up but Stuart isn't so interested in that idea.
Stuart tries to free his leg and advance position but Beast is retaining full guard.
Stuart controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Beast has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stuart can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Beast keeping full guard, as Stuart tries to pass.
Beast not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Stuart wants to get up but he can't break Beast's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Stuart shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Beast defends it nicely.
Stuart misses with a low kick.

Beast shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Stuart utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Stuart pulls Beast in to control the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Beast's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Beast throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stuart has momentary wrist control but Beast slips an elbow through the middle.
Stuart looking to control.
Beast tries to free his leg and advance position but Stuart is retaining full guard.
Beast stands up over Stuart, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Stuart trying to control the position.
Beast trying to control the position from guard on top but Stuart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Beast is breathing heavily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stuart is on top in guard.
Stuart prevents Beast from getting back to his feet.

Stuart wants to control but Beast is keeping him busy.

Beast takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Beast looks to move to half guard but instead Stuart has passed into mount! Damn!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Beast wants to hold on but Stuart pushes him away.
Stuart breaks from Beast's wrist control and lands an elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Sean Stuart will probably get the nod.

Beast avoids a lazy jab quite easily.


It looks like The Beast has been cut.
Beast fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Stuart misses with a head kick.
Beast lands with a slapping head kick.

Beast looking to score a takedown here. Stuart is defending well but Beast drives through and ends up in Stuart's guard.
Beast is looking to work some ground and pound but Stuart has wrist control.

Stuart keeping moving, preventing Beast from controlling successfully.

Stuart is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The Beast's cut is getting worse.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stuart connects with a nice short shot to Beast's temple.
Stuart wants to control but Beast is keeping him busy.
Stuart lands strikes from half guard.
Stuart takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Stuart works his way into full mount!
Stuart controlling the pace for now.

Stuart jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Beast manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Beast tries to improve position but can't.

Stuart thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Stuart trying to control the position but Beast is working away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Beast is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Stuart tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Beast is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Stuart takes a little break here. Beast wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Stuart's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Stuart stands up.
Beast keeps the fight on the outside.

Stuart shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Beast is trying to defend but Stuart finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stuart lands with a punch from half guard.
Beast is staying active underneath Stuart, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sean Stuart showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on The Beast's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Stuart shoots in but no luck this time.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stuart.
Stuart shoots in for a double leg but Beast sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Beast closes the distance and clinches.
A frustrated look appears on Stuart's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Stuart is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Beast to keep the fight standing.
The Beast has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Stuart.

Beast pulls guard effortlessly.
Beast lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stuart!

Stuart is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Stuart takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Beast landing strikes, looking to finish!

Beast has hold of Stuart's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Stuart manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Stuart wants to control but Beast is having none of it.

Beast breaks from Stuart's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Stuart is desperately trying to improve his position but Beast has a good base and remains in mount.
A nice elbow there by Beast.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Beast throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Stuart to regain full guard.

Beast prevents Stuart from getting back to his feet.
Beast has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Stuart preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up because The Beast just wasn't active enough.
Stuart misses with a jab, cross combination.
Stuart fails with a takedown attempt.

Beast forces Stuart back against the cage and clinches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Beast jumps guard but Stuart turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Stuart pulls guard successfully.
Sean Stuart is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Beast postures up.

And that's the end of the fight!
The Beast showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Stuart has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
