Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Oliveira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Al Fassak!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira works Fassak's body with a nice hook.
Oliveira tries to clinch but Fassak is having none of it.
Oliveira looks to score with a jab to the body but Fassak is just out of range.
Fassak tries to close the distance and clinch but Oliveira swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Oliveira drives through and clinches with Fassak against the cage.
Knees in the clinch landing for Fassak.

Fassak manages to pull guard.
Oliveira stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fassak swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Oliveira throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fassak works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Fassak has his feet on Oliveira's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
A looping hook to the body misses from Oliveira. Fassak does a little dance to reset his feet.

Oliveira throws a leg kick but Fassak checks it.
Nice cross by Oliveira.
Oliveira throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Oliveira scores with a jab. Fassak acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Oliveira throws a good cross that connects.
Oliveira lands a two punch combo.
Oliveira just misses with a punch to the body.
Oliveira lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Oliveira lands with a shot to the body.
Oliveira throws a solid leg kick but Fassak takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Oliveira.

Nice sprawl there from Oliveira as Fassak shoots in.

Fassak shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Oliveira napping and manages to drive through into side control!
A lull in the action here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fassak has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Oliveira!

Fassak's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Fassak controlling the pace.

Fassak is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Oliveira is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
