The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foran scores with a body shot.
Pico doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Foran counters with a stiff right hand.
Foran scores with a hook to the body. Pico takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Foran throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pico.
Foran scores with a nice strike.
Foran scores with a jab to the body.
Pico takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Good standup being displayed there by Foran as he connects with a hook.
Kieran Foran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Foran jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Foran scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Foran throws out a powerful jab.
Foran lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Good leg kick by Foran there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Foran throws a wild body kick that Pico sees coming a mile off.

Pico takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Foran lands with a shot to the body.
Pico is breathing heavily.
Foran fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Foran scores with a jab to the body.
Foran connects with a nice looking jab.
Foran comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Foran throws a good cross that connects.
Foran jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
A lazy left from Foran finds it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pico takes one to the chin there.
Foran connects with the punch.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Foran, as that shot connected.

Pico is rocked!
Pico on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Oh Pico is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pico takes one to the chin there.
Pico on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Pico doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pico is defended easily by Foran.
Foran swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Pico.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pico takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Pico seems to have got his legs back now.
Pico has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Pico there as he acknowledges the shot.
Foran lands a jab to the head.
Foran connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Pico! He's out on his feet! Foran rushes in and drops Pico with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
