The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillon looks to land a left hand but Imhotep moved out of range nicely.

Imhotep moves into the clinch.
Dillon wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Dillon is trying to break the clinch but Imhotep is controlling him.
Imhotep tries to pull guard but Dillon won't allow it.

Dillon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dillon lands with a straight right. Imhotep didn't see that one coming.
Imhotep ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Dillon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dillon scores with a jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dillon throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Imhotep moves away from the strike by Dillon.
Dillon thows a left - swing and a miss!
Dillon avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
A big left from Dillon misses.
Dillon bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Dillon throws a looping overhand right but Imhotep ducks down to avoid it.
Imhotep wants to clinch.
Dillon misses with a hook. Imhotep ducked under it nicely.
Horrible takedown by Imhotep or perhaps it was just good defense by Dillon which made him look bad.

Imhotep avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A swing and a miss from Dillon.
Imhotep uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dillon.
Dillon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Steven Dillon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Imhotep shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dillon as he avoids it easily.
Steven Dillon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nefertum Imhotep.

Dillon lands a big uppercut and Imhotep crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Imhotep looks OK. Dillon waves Imhotep back to his feet!

Imhotep seems to have recovered his senses.

Imhotep is holding his hands too far apart here. Dillon throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Imhotep is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
