Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Soon ToB (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanislav Kartonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kartonov has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Soon ToB has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

ToB throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kartonov tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. ToB is in Kartonov's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
ToB scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Kartonov looks gassed!
ToB is looking to work some ground and pound but Kartonov has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
ToB is working Kartonov over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
ToB passes Kartonov's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Kartonov has hold of ToB's hands but ToB slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
ToB lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
ToB uses his free foot to push down on Kartonov's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kartonov.
ToB landing punches.
ToB breaks from Kartonov's wrist control and lands an elbow.

That's one minute gone in the round.
ToB in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
ToB postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Kartonov bigstyle! Two more strikes land for ToB and the fight is over!
