The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chernova moves in looking to clinch but Grunt pushes him off.

Chernova closes the distance and pushes Grunt back into the cage.
Grunt swings away with an uppercut that misses.

A nice left hand lands by Chernova.

Chernova works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Grunt wants to stand up but Chernova is controlling him.
Chernova distracts Grunt with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Grunt manages to escape and get back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Chernova has taken the fight to the clinch.

Grunt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Chernova is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

letting Grunt counter with a right hand.
Chernova slips a jab from Grunt.
Grunt fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Chernova shoots in looking for a takedown. Grunt tries to sprawl out of it but Chernova keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Grunt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Chernova tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Grunt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Anastasia Eva Chernova has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Grunt connects with a superb combination that knocks Chernova out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Grunt before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Chernova!
