Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between DeeJay Dickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Paru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paru has chosen Tropa de Elite, osso duro de roer as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jose Paru is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Dickson is pressed up against the cage. Paru has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dickson down to the mat. Dickson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Paru gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Paru shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dickson pinned against the cage. Dickson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dickson lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Dickson drops an elbow to the side of Paru's head.
Paru wants to improve his position but Dickson is controlling well.

Paru wants to get back to full guard but Dickson has mounted him!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dickson looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Paru is trying to stand.
Dickson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Paru is working to get back to half guard.
Dickson avoids the attempt from Paru to control.
Paru is desperately trying to improve his position but Dickson has a good base and remains in mount.
Dickson connects with a bit shot that sees Paru covering up! More strikes from Dickson and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Dickson is our winner by TKO!
