Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Mendazedora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xiao Long Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dragon Punch!. Xiao Long Li is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li throws a leg kick but Mendazedora moved away.
Li tries to score with a low kick but Mendazedora moves his leg out of the way.
Li takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Mendazedora throws a leg kick that is checked

and Li counters with a single leg into guard. Mendazedora didn't expect that.
Li controls from within his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Li works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Mendazedora really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mendazedora has hold of Li's hands but Li slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Li is trying to control. Mendazedora wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Li tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mendazedora knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Mendazedora has hold of Li's hands but Li slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Mendazedora is refusing to be controlled, as Li sits in half guard.
Li might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mendazedora kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Xiao Long Li wasn't active enough on the ground.

It looks like Xiao Long Li has been cut.
Mendazedora slips a straight right by Li.
Mendazedora throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Both fighters circling a little - Mendazedora finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Li is still on wobbly legs! Can Mendazedora finish him?
Li chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mendazedora can pounce on him.

Mendazedora lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Li seems to have recovered his senses.
Li throws a leg kick but Mendazedora checks it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mendazedora tries a head kick but it misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Li has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Mendazedora.
Mendazedora misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mendazedora throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Li looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mendazedora scores with a head kick. Li tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Li on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mendazedora. Mendazedora obviously looking to wear him down.
Li throws a low kick but it's checked well by Mendazedora.

Li misses with a wild body shot.
Li will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Mendazedora connects with the punch.

That has opened up Xiao Long Li's cut even more.
Mendazedora throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
A nice inside leg kick there by Mendazedora. That's going to slow Li down.
Li misses with a hook. Mendazedora ducked under it nicely.
Li attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Li goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Li is looking to chop away at Mendazedora's legs.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Mendazedora! Li is out on his feet! Mendazedora rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Li is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Li is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Hugo Mendazedora decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
