The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stark shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Steve is trying to defend but Stark finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Stark prevents Steve from standing back up.
Stark content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Let's hope that Stark has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Steven Stark has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Steve swings for the body but Stark moves out of range.

A looping hook to the body misses from Steve. Stark does a little dance to reset his feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Stark.
Steve really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Stark working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Steve turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Stark off and cradles Steve's limp body as Stark celebrates with his corner.

A relieved looking Steven Stark thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
