Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Morales Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Lie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Morales Jr might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fuel - Metallica. Lie has chosen we right here as his entrance music. Mike Lie will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lie looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Lie closes the distance and clinches.

Morales Jr has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Lie regains guard immediately.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Morales Jr postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Lie has momentary wrist control but Morales Jr slips an elbow through the middle.

Morales Jr seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lie for as long as he can get away with.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
