The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Stepaneks!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Tomov is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Stepaneks can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Stepaneks is working to get back to half guard.

Tomov has hold of Stepaneks's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Stepaneks manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Stepaneks bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Stepaneks sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tomov's guard.
