Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tatsuyo Hayate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marlo Mouzone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tatsuyo Hayate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marlo Mouzone!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayate misses with a right hand
and Mouzone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mouzone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mouzone throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hayate's waist but Hayate gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mouzone off to one side.
Sloppy strikes from Hayate. Those never looked like landing.
Hayate takes one to the side of the head.
Hayate looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mouzone is fending him off so far but Hayate persists. Nope, Mouzone circles away and we're back to standing.
Hayate lands a jab to Mouzone's midsection.
Mouzone shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hayate as he avoids it easily.
Tatsuyo Hayate has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marlo Mouzone.
Hayate tried to score with a low kick but Mouzone checks it.
Hayate looks to score with a jab to the body but Mouzone is just out of range.
Hayate throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hayate swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tatsuyo Hayate seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hayate scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mouzone keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Hayate feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Mouzone lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hayate!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mouzone tries to control but Hayate wriggling away.
Mouzone lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Hayate tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Mouzone loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Hayate scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Mouzone land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Mouzone stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marlo Mouzone!
