Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sunny Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denny Prestol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day slips under a jab.
Day shoots in but Prestol avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Day moves out of range as Prestol strikes.
Prestol misses with a hook. Day ducked under it nicely.
Day shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Day keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Prestol.
Day tries to close the distance and clinch up but Prestol swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Day takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A slow jab from Prestol misses its intended target.
Denny Prestol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Day counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Prestol's guard now.
Prestol wants to sweep but no luck.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Prestol manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Day tries to hold on but Prestol pushes him away.
Prestol blocks Day's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Day is desperately trying to improve his position but Prestol has a good base and remains in mount.
Prestol takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Day keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Prestol is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Day is working hard here to advance position.

Day working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Prestol doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Day is tightening it up a little... Prestol has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Prestol reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Prestol taps out! Nice BJJ there by Day!
