The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matice Jr dives in and grabs Masters's left leg, looking for a takedown. Masters pushes down on Matice Jr's head and hops out.

Masters gets caught napping as Matice Jr dives in and scores a takedown. Masters manages to retain guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Matice Jr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Masters as he jumps to the side.

Masters's jab looks to have found its range, popping Matice Jr under the eye.

Masters looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Masters backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Matice Jr's temple! It sends Matice Jr violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Masters celebrates and the doctors try to help Matice Jr!
