The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Silva on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Silva swings for the body but Jonhson moves out of range.

Nice uppercut lands for Jonhson. That snapped Silva's head back.

That was a close round but I would say that Jeff Jonhson will probably get the nod.

Jonhson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silva manages to avoid it.
Jonhson has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Jonhson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Silva's head backwards.
Silva takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

and Jonhson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Silva moves out of range of the strikes.
Jonhson throws a lazy right hand but Silva sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Jonhson walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Silva drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Jonhson swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Silva's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
