The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abreu feints and as Aldo raises his hands in defense, Abreu changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Aldo wants to get back to his feet but Abreu is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Abreu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aldo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Aldo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Abreu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
