The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bulton misses with a few strikes there.

Muhunthan instigates a clinch.
Muhunthan misses with a body punch.

Muhunthan jumps guard and drags Bulton to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Muhunthan is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Bulton wants to control from the top but Muhunthan keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Kieran Muhunthan was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Bulton connects with a single shot there.
Bulton scores with a jab. Muhunthan acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

A left and a right from Bulton both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Kieran Muhunthan has been cut.

Muhunthan clinches with his opponent.

Muhunthan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Muhunthan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bulton looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Muhunthan works to advance to full mount. Bulton defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Muhunthan is landing with some decent strikes but Bulton is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Muhunthan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Muhunthan has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bulton is trying to keep an underhook but Muhunthan manages to get the takedown into half guard.
