The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ward tries to bum rush VonFoster with a series of wild strikes but VonFoster uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
VonFoster wants to clinch up but Ward keeps it at a distance.

VonFoster changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ward tries to avoid it but VonFoster manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ward to the ground. Ward escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
