Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ginger Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mann comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Perfect for Me kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann throws a lazy uppercut
and Silva makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Silva takes a jab right on the kisser.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Silva.
Mann misses with a head kick.
Mann avoids the head kick by Silva.
Mann lands with a right hand.
Mann avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mann tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Mann.
Mann lands with a good body shot.
Ginger Mann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mann.

Mann cracks Silva with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Mann connects with a body shot that sends Silva's belly button to the back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Silva.
Silva will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

and Silva counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mann's knee momentarily.

Mann tries a low kick but Silva avoids it.

and Silva counters with a good, hard body kick but Mann shrugs it off.

and Silva counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mann thinking.
Silva throws a leg kick which misses Mann's front leg but catches the back leg as Mann tries to avoid it.
Mann throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mann lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Silva has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Silva and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Mann misses with a wild combination.
Good leg kick by Silva there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Mann avoids the head kick by Silva.
Mann steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Silva. That one must have hurt.
Silva connects with an inside leg kick.

Silva takes the fight into the clinch.
Mann is trying to push Silva away but Silva has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Silva unloads a knee to the mid-section. Mann lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Silva pushes Mann back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Silva with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Silva tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Silva lands a body punch.
Silva misses with a knee strike.

Mann escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Silva wants to slow Mann down by chopping away at his legs.
Silva lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Silva on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mann. Mann obviously looking to wear him down.

Mann blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Mann's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Mann has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Silva misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mann.

Silva throws a knee to the head but misses.
Mann wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

It looks like Ginger Mann has been cut.
Silva has Mann pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Mann is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Silva - that's hurt Mann badly! Oh, another knee lands and Mann is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Mann doesn't seem to be complaining.
