Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Juan DeMarco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernie Els (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Els has chosen French Montana - Shot Caller as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeMarco looks to land a body kick but Els moved away.
Els punishes DeMarco's body with a nice straight punch.
DeMarco shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Els as he jumps to the side.
DeMarco ducks under a wild hook from Els.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from DeMarco lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Els has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Els and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
DeMarco fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Els checks it well.
DeMarco misses with a wild body shot.
A chopping leg kick lands by DeMarco.
DeMarco looks for the body kick but Els saw that one coming.
Els throws a combination but it was largely blocked by DeMarco.
A nice inside leg kick there by Els. That's going to slow DeMarco down.
Els is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by DeMarco.
Els misses the jab.
Els moves out of range of the body kick from DeMarco.
DeMarco uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Els.
A swing and a miss from DeMarco.
DeMarco throws a leg kick that is checked
and Els counters with a low kick, right behind DeMarco 's knee.
Els throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's one minute gone in the round.
DeMarco throws a leg kick but Els checks it.
Els connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

DeMarco fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Els catches DeMarco with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
DeMarco takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
DeMarco shoots in for a takedown but Els shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Juan DeMarco. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Els lands a straight punch to the body, keeping DeMarco at a distance.
DeMarco is breathing heavily.
Els lands with a slapping head kick.
DeMarco takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Els scoring well with a low kick there.
Els darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Els works the jab nicely.
Els feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends DeMarco sprawling to the canvas! DeMarco rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Els finish him?!
DeMarco is rocked!

DeMarco looks up at the clock. Bad move! Els lands a right hand from hell, dropping DeMarco. Els pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ernie Els!
Ernie Els decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
