Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dark Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eldoth Kron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kron's choice of entrance music: Afterworld. Dark Coleman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dark Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Eldoth Kron!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Coleman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Coleman showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kron keeping hold of Coleman's head, controlling as best he can.
Kron avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Coleman.
Kron wants to control but Coleman is keeping busy.

Kron wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Coleman.

Coleman lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Coleman drops an elbow to the side of Kron's head.
Coleman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Coleman seems to be working for a kimura but Kron defends the submission attempt.
Coleman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kron with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Coleman thows a huge punch but Kron dodges it nicely.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Coleman lands a nice short elbow.

Coleman is looking for submissions but instead, Kron has regained full guard.
Coleman works over Kron with some ground and pound from guard.
Kron is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Coleman's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Coleman passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Kron prevents Coleman from moving into mount.

Coleman goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kron has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Coleman but great work by Kron.

Coleman tries to get back to half guard but can't.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kron tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Check out the look on Kron's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Kron drives through with a takedown into Coleman's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Kron got a little sloppy there for a moment and Coleman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kron has managed to get both his arms back between Coleman's legs - danger averted.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Eldoth Kron wasn't active enough on the ground.
Coleman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kron sprawls well. Kron wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Coleman gets slowly back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Eldoth Kron showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Coleman shoots in looking for a takedown. Kron tries to sprawl out of it but Coleman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kron manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

I would just about give that final round to Eldoth Kron.
