Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khalidov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kai Shek bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Khalidov's head backwards.
Kai Shek jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Khalidov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kai Shek lands a head shot.
Khalidov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kai Shek as he avoids it easily.

Khalidov tries to clinch but Kai Shek moves out of range.
Khalidov on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Khalidov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kai Shek tries to avoid it but Khalidov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kai Shek to the ground. Kai Shek escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Chiang Kai Shek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mamed Khalidov.
Kai Shek lands a nice shot that snaps Khalidov's head back.
Khalidov throws a sloppy head kick and Kai Shek moves out of range easily.
Khalidov moves in looking to clinch but Kai Shek pushes him off.
Kai Shek bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kai Shek cracks Khalidov with a right hand to the side of the head.

Kai Shek dives in and scores a takedown into Khalidov's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Kai Shek decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Khalidov, up you get!

Kai Shek is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Khalidov's half guard.

Khalidov tries to kick Kai Shek off but Kai Shek keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Kai Shek postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Khalidov to stand up.

Kai Shek smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Kai Shek catches Khalidov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kai Shek is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Kai Shek throws a series of strikes that have Khalidov backpedaling.
Kai Shek pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Khalidov back to the cage. Kai Shek follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kai Shek fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Khalidov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Kai Shek bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Khalidov's head backwards.

Kai Shek moves into the clinch.
Kai Shek is looking to break free of the clinch but Khalidov has double underhooks.
Khalidov fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Khalidov is trying to force a seperation but Kai Shek has the dominant position.
Khalidov has Kai Shek pressed against the cage, preventing Kai Shek from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

A frustrated look appears on Kai Shek's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Khalidov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kai Shek fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Kai Shek moves into range and connects with a jab.
Khalidov tries to clinch up but Kai Shek circles away and keeps his distance.

Khalidov tries to land a knee to the head but Kai Shek blocks with his arms.
Kai Shek is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Khalidov is rocked!
Kai Shek creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Khalidov with a big uppercut! Khalidov tries to clinch up but Kai Shek pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Khalidov to the mat! Khalidov covers up and Kai Shek unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Chiang Kai Shek!
