The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopes lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Lopes lands a nice hook to Wille's body. Wille takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Lopes throws a right and a left that Wille avoids nicely.
Lopes is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wille sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Lopes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
so Wille counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Wille is looking to work some ground and pound but Lopes has wrist control.
Wille is looking to stand up but Lopes won't let him.
Wille is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wille is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Lopes has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Wille is looking to defend but Lopes has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Wille! Lopes pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Wille taps out and this one is all over!
