The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sanders swings and misses with a hook to the body.
carnero slips a jab and a cross from Sanders.
Sanders scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. carnero doesn't seem bothered though.
Sanders avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

carnero moves into the clinch successfully.
carnero tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sanders just stands there and leans against the cage.
carnero is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sanders pulls him back up using the underhooks.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sanders takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
carnero drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sanders pulls his leg out and moves away.
