Bogan's entrance music is Renunciation - Secret Chiefs 3. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bogan is out of range and Rua settles back down.
Bogan throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Rua scores with a shot to the body.
A big left from Bogan misses.
Alex Rua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rua shoots in for a takedown but Bogan shows good takedown defense.
Rua takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bogan lands a nice hook to Rua's body. Rua takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Bogan has Rua up against the cage in a clinch.
Rua drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rua looks gassed!
Rua wants to stall.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bogan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rua keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Rua shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bogan pinned against the cage. Bogan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bulk Bogan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Rua.
Rua throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bogan stuffs the takedown attempt from Rua. Rua gets slowly back to his feet.
Bogan misses with a looping left.

Bogan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bogan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rua swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rua is rocked!
Bogan gets to his feet and stands over Rua, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Rua felt that one! Bogan unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Rua from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bulk Bogan!
