Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Lindquist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Pavluchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lindquist's entrance music is Wacco Will Kick Your Ass. A fine choice. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pavluchenko steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lindquist.
Lindquist fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pavluchenko looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Pavluchenko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lindquist.
An inside leg kick from Lindquist misses.
No luck for Pavluchenko with that takedown attempt.
A combination from Pavluchenko does no damage.
Lindquist keeps the fight on the outside.

With the fighters up against the cage, Lindquist throws an elbow but misses.

Robert Lindquist is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pavluchenko closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lindquist quickly recovers to half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Pavluchenko has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Lindquist works to full guard.
Lindquist wants to sweep here but Pavluchenko controlling him for the moment.

Lindquist cracks Pavluchenko with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pavluchenko is squirming around, avoiding Lindquist's attempts to control the action.
Lindquist tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Lindquist wants to control the pace but Pavluchenko is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lindquist lands a heavy elbow.
Lindquist has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pavluchenko is trying to stand up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
