Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abdullah Zaire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest Gump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gump has chosen mama always said as his entrance music. Forrest Gump has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Abdullah Zaire's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaire will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Zaire tries to close the distance and clinch but Gump swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gump lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Zaire has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Zaire and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Zaire tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gump manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Gump jumps guard and drags Zaire to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Zaire tries to free his leg and advance position but Gump is retaining full guard.

Zaire is fighting to break Gump's control of his arms but Gump is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Forrest Gump hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Zaire fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gump manages to avoid it.
Abdullah Zaire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice defenses there by Gump.

Zaire shoots in and drives through. Gump sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abdullah Zaire. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Abdullah Zaire will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

BOOM! Gump lands a beautiful left hook that drops Zaire. Zaire tries to recover but Gump is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Zaire lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
