Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bas De Kaizer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Rude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Kaizer's entrance music is Im sexay and I know it!. A fine choice. Bas De Kaizer had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rude closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into De Kaizer's guard.
Rude pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. De Kaizer is keeping the position for now.
Rude is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
De Kaizer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rude gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
De Kaizer tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Rude wants to control from the top but De Kaizer keeps moving.
Rude thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
De Kaizer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rude's guard.
De Kaizer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rude has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, De Kaizer has managed to get both his arms back between Rude's legs - danger averted.

De Kaizer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rude swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rude is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
De Kaizer slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, with Rude on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before De Kaizer is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Rude is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. De Kaizer defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Rude looking to break De Kaizer's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. De Kaizer remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Rude will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

De Kaizer is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Rude gets his way!

Rick Rude comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Rude has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
