Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rhys Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rambo Ceasar!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams misses with a takedown attempt - Ceasar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Williams.
Ceasar lands with a nice combination. Williams backs away looking to recover.
Williams avoids a punch combination nicely.
Williams showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ceasar.
Williams closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ceasar makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Williams stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Williams wants it to stay on the feet.
Williams tries to clinch up but Ceasar circles away and keeps his distance.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ceasar jumps into guard, dragging Williams to the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Williams pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ceasar is keeping the position for now.
Williams lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Williams gets to his feet - Ceasar follows without any prompting.
Williams misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rhys Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Williams swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Ceasar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ceasar.
Williams is breathing heavily.
Ceasar postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ceasar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ceasar tries to free his leg and advance position but Williams is retaining full guard.

Ceasar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Ceasar thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Ceasar stopping the sweep attempt from Williams.
Williams trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Ceasar postures up in Williams's guard and throws a big left but Williams blocks it.
Ceasar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Ceasar keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Williams's head.
Ceasar showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Ceasar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Ceasar seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Ceasar throws a big right hand that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ceasar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ceasar stands and steps away. Williams gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Ceasar lands the left hand.
Ceasar tests Williams's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ceasar swats away the attempt to clinch by Williams.

Ceasar scores a takedown into full mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ceasar lands a heavy elbow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ceasar landing strikes, looking to finish!
Ceasar scores with a couple of good head shots there.


Williams is rocked!
Ceasar controlling his opponent.
Oh Williams is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ceasar cracks Williams with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Ceasar connects with a bit shot that sees Williams covering up! More strikes from Ceasar and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Ceasar is our winner by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rambo Ceasar!
A very excited looking Rambo Ceasar made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
