Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Choi Min Soo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Roach!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Min Soo lands with a shot to the body.
Roach looks for a takedown but Min Soo sprawls well.
Min Soo lands a jab to the nose.
It looks like Frank Roach has been cut.
Min Soo misses the shot to the body.
Oooooh!!! Min Soo has knocked Roach down with a huge combo! Min Soo steps away and waves a wobbly Roach back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Roach is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Min Soo punishes Roach's body with a nice straight punch.
Roach is still on wobbly legs! Can Min Soo finish him?
Roach takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Roach gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Min Soo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Roach sprawling to the canvas! Roach rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Min Soo finish him?!
Roach fails with the takedown.
Min Soo scores with a shot to the body.
Roach seems to have recovered his senses.
Min Soo connects with a body shot that sends Roach's belly button to the back.
Roach looks gassed!
Min Soo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Min Soo dips to his left and cracks Roach with an uppercut!
Min Soo drops Roach with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Roach looks back up at him and smiles so Min Soo waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
That has opened up Frank Roach's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Roach walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Min Soo! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Choi Min Soo!
