Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, NJ Mcgarry!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Mcgarry with that takedown attempt.
Dobbs displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mcgarry.

Dobbs closes the distance and clinches.
Dobbs will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Mcgarry up against the cage.
Dobbs misses with a punch on the inside.
Mcgarry fails to pull guard.
Trenton Dobbs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of NJ Mcgarry.
Mcgarry wants a takedown.
Dobbs lands a hook to the side of the head.

Dobbs lands with a left to the head.

Dobbs lands with a light punch inside.
Dobbs lands with a short shot to the head.
Dobbs misses with a punch to the body.

It looks like NJ Mcgarry has been cut.

Dobbs's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dobbs is looking to clinch but Mcgarry is avoiding it.
Dobbs misses with a low kick.
Mcgarry shoots in for a double leg but Dobbs sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Dobbs closes the distance and clinches.
Mcgarry prevents Dobbs from breaking the clinch.
Dobbs just leaning against Mcgarry, taking a breather.
Mcgarry tries to pull guard but Dobbs holds him up against the cage and eventually Mcgarry drops back down to his feet.

Mcgarry blocking some punches.
Dobbs is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Mcgarry should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Dobbs lands a shot to the body.
Mcgarry has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dobbs after a bit of a struggle.

Mcgarry jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dobbs walks away with a smile on his face. Mcgarry gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Dobbs wants to clinch.
Mcgarry shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dobbs as he avoids it easily.
Dobbs fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mcgarry looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mcgarry swats away the attempt to clinch by Dobbs.
Mcgarry tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dobbs sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mcgarry somewhat.
Dobbs tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dobbs is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Dobbs darts in and clinches Mcgarry up against the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mcgarry blocks an uppercut.
A bit of stalling here from Dobbs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Trenton Dobbs dominated that round.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Dobbs tries to clinch but Mcgarry moves out of range.
Mcgarry looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dobbs is fending him off so far but Mcgarry persists. Nope, Dobbs circles away and we're back to standing.

Dobbs has closed the distance and engaged Mcgarry in a clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Dobbs has a couple of punches blocked by Mcgarry.
Dobbs wants to break the clinch but can't.

Dobbs lands a left hand that snaps the head of Mcgarry backwards.
Mcgarry blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Dobbs controlling the action here for a moment.
Dobbs doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Mcgarry blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Mcgarry tries to pull guard but Dobbs forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Dobbs misses with the head strike.

Mcgarry jumps into guard, dragging Dobbs to the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mcgarry pushes a forearm under Dobbs's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Dobbs is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). NJ Mcgarry!
