Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Babyfarts Mcgeezak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcgeezak comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome to the Terrordome. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Babyfarts Mcgeezak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Glen Davis!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis with a poor takedown
and Mcgeezak counters with a left to the body.

Davis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mcgeezak to the mat! Mcgeezak manages to get full guard.
Mcgeezak on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mcgeezak tries to get out of the position.
Davis is looking to work some ground and pound but Mcgeezak has wrist control.
Mcgeezak wants to get back to his feet but Davis is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Davis trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcgeezak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Glen Davis was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Davis goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Mcgeezak turns into him and now he's in Davis's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mcgeezak avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mcgeezak throws a strike but Davis rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Davis is working Mcgeezak over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Davis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Mcgeezak knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davis on the ground.

Davis tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mcgeezak knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Davis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mcgeezak as he avoids it easily.

Davis is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mcgeezak has escaped the position, nice work there.

The ground and pound from Davis seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Davis wants to control but Mcgeezak is keeping him busy.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Davis. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Davis works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Davis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Babyfarts Mcgeezak's cut is getting worse.

Davis tries for a kimura but Mcgeezak is defending well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Davis swings around for an armbar but Mcgeezak sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Davis's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Glen Davis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Davis has a takedown stuffed.
Davis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mcgeezak tries to close the distance and clinch up but Davis swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Davis decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mcgeezak's guard.
Davis has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Mcgeezak wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Davis manages to pass to side control.
Davis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mcgeezak keeps working.
Davis throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Davis sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mcgeezak defending well though.
Davis moves into full mount! Mcgeezak won't be happy about that!
Davis sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Davis throws a wild left hand from mount and Mcgeezak manages to wriggle his way back to half guard.
Davis thows a huge punch but Mcgeezak dodges it nicely.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Davis wants to take a breather but Mcgeezak is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Glen Davis hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Mcgeezak tries to clinch

so Davis counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Davis pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mcgeezak is keeping the position for now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Davis is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mcgeezak is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mcgeezak has escaped and now he's on top!

Glen Davis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Davis winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
