Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arron Gillespie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santiago Alvares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gillespie comes to the cage accompanied by Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows Scream If You're Crazy. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Santiago Alvares was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Arron Gillespie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Santiago Alvares!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvares tries to clinch up.
Alvares shoots for a double leg takedown but Gillespie sprawls well. He's pushed Alvares's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Alvares clinches.
Gillespie is defending well against a takedown attempt.
A shot in the inside from Gillespie.
Gillespie gets underhooks to prevent Alvares's takedown attempt.
Arron Gillespie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Santiago Alvares.
Alvares has Gillespie pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gillespie manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Gillespie is pressed up against the cage. Alvares has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gillespie down to the mat. Gillespie avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Gillespie dips to his left and cracks Alvares with an uppercut!

It looks like Santiago Alvares has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gillespie lands a left and a right that send Alvares crashing to the mat, dazed. Gillespie thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Alvares is rocked!
Gillespie plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Alvares to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Alvares just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
