The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klasky looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Klasky avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Abbiati slaps away a takedown attempt from Klasky, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kane Klasky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Klasky closes the distance and pushes Abbiati back into the cage.

Klasky turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Klasky goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Abbiati rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Klasky's guard! Nice work there by Abbiati!

Abbiati stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Klasky swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Abbiati not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Giorgio Abbiati.
Klasky avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
