The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pawter waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Leite.
Pawter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pawter tries to clinch up but Leite circles away and keeps his distance.
Leite tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pawter cracks Leite with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Nice sprawl there from Pawter as Leite shoots in.
Leite on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Pawter moves into the clinch.
Pawter lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Leite or not.

Pawter manages to break the clinch.
Pawter looks for the body kick but Leite saw that one coming.
Leite looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Leite shoots in for a takedown but Pawter shows good takedown defense.
Robert Pawter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luis Leite.
Leite takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Pawter shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pawter showed some decent athleticism there.

Leite manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Leite is trying to drag Pawter to the mat but Pawter just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Leite is looking to break free of the clinch but Pawter has double underhooks.
Leite has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Pawter avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Pawter pushes Leite back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Leite has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pawter is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Pawter will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Leite up against the cage.

Pawter lands a big knee to the head and Leite goes down! Pawter pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
