Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Math Rastafari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rua comes to the cage accompanied by Roy Jones - Can't be touched . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Math Rastafari!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rastafari looks to land a combination but Rua avoids it well.
Rastafari lands with an overhand left.

Rua closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rua lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rastafari keeping full guard, as Rua tries to pass.
Rua wants to control from the top but Rastafari keeps moving.
Rua stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rastafari swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rua trying to control but Rastafari is working from the bottom.

Rua thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Rua wants to control from the top but Rastafari keeps moving.

Mauricio Rua has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Rastafari listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Rastafari misses the jab.
Math Rastafari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rastafari jabs Rua to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Rastafari scores with a nice head shot.

and Rua counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rua postures up.
Rua won't allow Rastafari to get back to his feet.
Rua won't allow Rastafari to sweep him here.
Rua tries to free his leg and advance position but Rastafari is retaining full guard.
Rastafari really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rua. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rua in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Rastafari seems keen to control Rua's posture.
Rastafari is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Math Rastafari hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Rastafari will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rua shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rastafari but Rastafari pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rastafari lands with a good body shot.
Rua blocks a low kick nicely.
Rastafari throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rua sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rua slips a jab from Rastafari.
Rastafari misses with a straight left.
A lazy left from Rastafari finds it's target.
Rastafari throws a shot from downtown. Rua moves away and avoids it.

Rua with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rastafari to score with a decent uppercut.
Rua shoots in and drives through. Rastafari sprawls well.
Good standup being displayed there by Rastafari as he connects with a hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rastafari catches Rua with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Oh Rua is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rastafari drops Rua with a straight right hand, right on the button! Rastafari follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
