Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanley Stuus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stuus circles away from the clinch attempt
and Stuus counters with a nice leg kick.
Thompson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stuus.
A cross from Stuus lands.

Stuus closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stuus lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Thompson throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Thompson is striking but Stuus is not phased and passes to half guard.

Stuus is looking for a kimura but Thompson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Stuus to get the leverage.

Stuus is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Thompson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stuus.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Thompson is not content to let Stuus control the position.
Thompson manages to get to full guard.

Thompson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Stuus loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Stuus postures up in Thompson's guard and throws a big left but Thompson blocks it.

Thompson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stuus can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Stuus lands a couple of digs.
Thompson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stuus is one step ahead there.

Stuus drops back looking for a leg! Thompson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Thompson manages to kick Stuus off! Stuus jumps back into Thompson's guard.

Thompson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stuus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stuus manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Thompson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stuus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Stuus stands up over Thompson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Thompson looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Stuus passes into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thompson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Thompson is nestled in close to Stuus, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Thompson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Stuus!

Stuus has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Thompson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Stuus is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Thompson pulls down on the head and he's put Stuus to sleep! This one is all over!
