Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Travis Lirette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ari WW (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lirette comes to the cage accompanied by Hear Me Now. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

WW is keen to just control but Lirette is a slippery customer.
WW might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lirette kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

WW looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lirette with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

and WW counters with a shoot takedown. Lirette fights it but they end up in guard.

Lirette has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but WW can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lirette has his foot on WW's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. WW works his way back into a safe position though.

After the fight, Ari WW was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
