The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harper lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brigglett circles away quickly and effectively.
Harper tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brigglett sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harper somewhat.
Harper lands a nice leg kick that just misses Brigglett's sensitive parts.
Harper lands with a hook. Brigglett tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Brigglett cracks Harper with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Harper has managed to clinch.

Brigglett lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Brigglett escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Oh Harper is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Brigglett has closed the distance and engaged Harper in a clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee is keeping an eye on Brigglett - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Harper seems to have got his legs back now.
Brigglett is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Harper gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Brigglett lands with a left to the head.

Brigglett digs a right hand underneath Harper's ribcage. Harper let out a lung full of air as it connected.

A frustrated look appears on Harper's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Harper is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Brigglett pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Brigglett is trying to maintain a safe position but Harper gets an underhook and turns Brigglett into the cage.
