Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roddy Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tobias Larsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piper comes to the cage accompanied by Scotland yard by The Ramones. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larsson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Larsson doesn't manage to clinch there - Piper circles away.
Larsson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Larsson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Larsson misses with a hook.
Larsson swings for the body but Piper moves out of range.
Larsson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Donk. Piper catches Larsson right on the button with a cross.
Larsson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Larsson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Larsson moves into the clinch.

Larsson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Larsson manages to end up in side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Larsson tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Piper tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Larsson easily slips into full mount!
Larsson lands with some strikes.
Larsson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Piper looks a forlorn figure.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
You get the feeling that Piper really doesn't like being in this position too much.
