Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dean Lister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Really Suck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lister fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Suck has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Lister shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Lister goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Suck is on top in guard.
Lister is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Lister is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Suck's shoulder. That is not cool.

Suck really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lister. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Suck wants to sweep but Lister has passed to side control!

Lister throws a combination. Suck tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Suck stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lister.

Lister works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lister sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Suck's guard.

Lister wants the takedown. Suck is fighting it off but Lister persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Suck's guard against the cage.

Lister is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Lister stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Lister closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Suck to the mat! Suck manages to get full guard.
Lister passes Suck's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Lister lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Dean Lister overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lister decides to stand and escape the position.
Lister throws a nice head kick!
Lister stalks Suck and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Suck's face. Suck staggers backwards, shaken.

Lister feints and as Suck raises his hands in defense, Lister changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lister is pushing down on Suck's leg trying to pass to half guard. Suck is fighting to maintain full guard but Lister has managed to sneak the leg through.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lister is taking a breather. Suck says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Lister has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Lister moves nicely into side control.
Lister lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Suck is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Lister is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Lister feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lister seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Suck for as long as he can get away with.

Lister manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Suck tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Lister has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Lister is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Suck is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Suck flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Lister anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Suck and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Lister slips an arm under Suck chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Lister has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Lister is squeezing on Suck like an anaconda would it's prey. Suck fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
